The top eight finishers of Race 1 started in reverse grid for Race 2. Siddharth Mehdiratta of Lucknow was in pole followed by Tuhid Anwar of Chennai on the front row and Jeet Jhabakh and Shubhomoy Ball on row two. However, there was a turnaround when Siddharth failed to take advantage of his pole position because of an error by lighting headlights before the fires became green. The mistake led Siddharth to drive to the pits and race by reducing one lap.

Spotting an opportunity, Jeet had a clear track in front of him and left with a good start while maintaining his lead with the maximum points of Race 2 Here, Saurav and Anmol fought hard for the second position. Finally, it was Anmol who managed to take second place while Sourav took third place.

The grid positions for the last Round 2 race were based on the second best qualifying time achieved by the drivers on Friday. Saurav took pole position while Dhruv joined him in the front row. Anmol and Shubhomoy Ball took the third and fourth positions respectively on the gird. Race 3 of the 2018 Ameo Cup in the second round saw Dhruv Mohite claim the first place with a total time of 18: 13.727. Jeet Jhabhak won second place with a total time of 18: 17.603. The third position was claimed by Anmol Singh Sahil with a total time of 18: 18.068.

A slow start from Sourav in the last race helped Dhruv get off to a good start, especially when he got to the first corner. He managed to stay ahead for the duration of the race despite the deployment of a safety car on lap 1 which involved an incident with Anuranjan Velmurugan and Arefeen Ahmed. In the wake, there was an intense battle for the second positions, Jeet winning several positions to finish the race in second place and Anmol finishing the race in third place to complete a podium finish.

On the occasion, Sirish Vissa, Director of Volkswagen Motorsport India, said: "We are halfway through the 2018 season of the Ameo Cup and the battle for the title of driver n & # 39; 39, has never been so big, we have several competitors going to distance. Also, surprisingly, we have some rookie drivers who are alongside the most experienced in overall score, which bears witness to all the work done by our Rayomand drivers Banajee and Karthik Tharani. "We had a quick turnaround today with several races in a short period of time, the cars in terms of performance and reliability have been brilliant today. Even the MRF tires have provided consistent performance considering the scorching heat of Chennai and the high temperatures on the track.
