Tesla CEO Elon Musk reportedly ordered his company's engineers to pbad a braking test on Model 3 cars before leaving the Fremont factory in the United States. The test is called braking and roll test. It checks the brakes and ensures that the wheels of the car are perfectly aligned at high revolutions per minute. This news comes days after Musk announced that Tesla had achieved its goal of producing 5,000 model 3 cars.

The Tesla Model 3 is a mid-size luxury all-electric four-door sedan. According to Tesla officials, the standard model of the model 3,220 miles (354 km) and the long-range model offers 500 km (310 miles). Tesla stated that Model 3 includes complete autonomous driving equipment that will eventually be activated at a later date.

According to an article in The Daily Mail, in a week after unveiling model 3 in 2016, Tesla revealed it had taken 325,000 car bookings, more than triple the number of Model S sedans sold at the end in 2015. These bookings represent potential sales of more than US $ 14 billion. As of August 2017, there were 455,000 net bookings and an average of 1,800 reservations were added per day. Despite achieving the goal of 5,000 flights per week, Tesla failed to deliver its deliveries in the second quarter by delivering 40,740 vehicles instead of the planned 51,000.
