The new Suzuki Burgman Street is launched if the numbers of the first 12 days are taken into account. According to sources from Express Drives, 11,000 units of the Suzuki Burgman Street have been sold so far in India. It should be noted that these figures refer to scooters shipped to dealers. One of the main reasons for this positive start is the maxi scooter style that makes the Burgman one of the most popular scooters in the country. The last time India saw a maxi-scooter a decade ago in the form of the Kinetic Blaze, which failed to shine on the sales charts. Suzuki Burgman Street was launched in India at a price of Rs 68,000 (ex-showroom). At such a price level, while there are other scooters like the TVS Ntorq 125 and Honda Grazia 125 that offer more features at lower prices, the Burgman Street takes the lead with its larger proportions and the comfort badet of Suzuki. An interesting feature of the New Suzuki Burgman Street is the cleverly designed floor board that allows the scooter to be driven in two different positions .While one of them includes the conventional position in which the rider places his feet on the floor, the other allows him to stretch his legs and place his feet towards the inner part of the front apron offering an advantage over long distances.
Braking on the Suzuki Burgman Street is done with the help of a disc brake at the front with a drum brake at the rear. A CBS (Combined Braking System) is also supplied as standard as a safety device that automatically applies both brakes when the driver applies the rear brake lever only. This ensures safer and improved braking. The scooter also receives storage pockets at the front and one of them includes a USB charger to keep devices such as smartphones on the go.
