How to Block Spam Calls on Android

Google explained how to enable the Android spam call blocker via a dedicated Google support page.

Caller ID and anti-spam protection, according to Google, are enabled by default. To make sure the feature is turned on, users can view the Settings menu under the Caller ID and Spam option. The caller ID will identify the company or service that calls a user if he has a Google My Business record.

The new feature is the second item in the Caller ID and Spam menu. Users who wish to send suspected spam calls directly to voicemail must enable the option "Prevent Spam Calls Suspected of Disturbing You."

However, Google Phone's spam filter can not capture all unwanted calls. However, users can block all calls to a specific number by tagging them as spam. To do this, users must enter the phone application and check their recent calls to the caller for spam. Tap the call, then tap "Block / report spam". Users will be able to block the number and report it as spam.

In appearance, the next step for Google would be to create a system that automatically blocks callers after multiple calls redirected to voicemail without leaving messages. 19659014] See: 30 Gadgets and Gifts for Father's Day 2018 This Dad Will Think of Being Rad
