Federal Government Invests $ 24 Million To Test Flu At Home

The Department of Health and Social Services announced that it was working with two companies to develop the technology.

Flu would pbad the test at home and send information to their doctor through an application.

Theoretically – the doctor could then prescribe antivirals that could be delivered to the patient.

The hope is that with patients staying at home – it would drastically reduce the spread of the flu.

The two companies developing the product are Cue Health and Dibadess.
