Karim ZMR Hero revived in India at price tag of Rs 1.08 lakh

The main Indian biker hero revived the Karizma Hero ZMR after a hiatus of one and a half year. The ex-showroom price of standard and two-color variants of the new Karizma ZMR 2018 Hero is Rs. 1.08 lakh and Rs. 1.10 lakh (Delhi) respectively. Dealers have begun accepting reservations for the Karizma ZMR 2018, although the model has not yet reached the outlets.

The old flagship offer of MotoCorp Hero was removed from the shelves last year after failing to receive the BS-IV update, following a decline in sales since its complete overhaul in 2014

The 2003 Karizma Hero and was one of the most popular offerings for motorcycle enthusiasts in the entry-level performance segment. The longest bike remained a close rival of the Bajaj Pulsar 220F in both performance and sales. However, increasing competition and lack of updates meant that the bike could not compete with its competitors in terms of sales. To add to that, the updated Karizma introduced in 2014 in collaboration with Erik Buell Racing (EBR), Hero's technical partner, has not been well received in the market. The bizarre style was far from desirable, which only meant further reducing sales.

For the 2018 model year, the Karizma ZMR Hero undergoes no aesthetic changes. In fact, the model was also presented at the same time at the Auto Expo 2018. The bike is powered by the same 223cc single cylinder, oil cooled engine with fuel injection that is now BS compliant -IV, and is set to produce 20 hp at 8000 rpm and 19.7 Nm maximum torque at 6500 rpm. The engine is badociated with a 5-speed gearbox. The hero claims a maximum speed of 129 km / h on the ZMR of Karizma. The suspension functions are provided by telescopic forks at the front and two shock absorbers at the rear.

Braking performance comes from the disc brakes at each end, while there is still no ABS on the supply. The security feature is available on the new Xtreme 200R. At its price, the Karizma ZMR competes with the Bajaj Pulsar RS 200, as well as with the Suzuki Gixxer SF.
