The study showed that fMRI develops a map of brain activity by detecting changes in blood flow to specific regions of the brain.
The researchers found that after the treatment of cerebral activity at rest. data, the algorithm was able to predict intelligence at statistically significant levels across subjects. By predicting the intelligence of brain scans, the algorithm is doing something that humans can not do because even an experienced neuroscientist can not look at a brain scanner and say how intelligent a person is, have says the researchers.
