Rumors have continued to grow around the future flagship smartphones of Huawei, Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro. Just a few days ago, a leaked image of the Mate 20 Pro was spotted on a Chinese website and some of its key specifications were revealed. Now it seems to be the turn of the Mate 20. XDA-Developers reports that he got his hands on some smartphone firmware files that give insight on his hardware.

The Huawei Mate 20 is to be powered by a SoC Kirin 980 HiSilicon, which would be the first chipset made in 7nm. While other specifications have not yet been officially announced, the processor has been proposed to carry eight cores, and clock speeds of up to 2.8 GHz. Not only that, being developed on a 7nm process is also stated to make it 40% more energy efficient, while increasing its performance by 20 percent, compared to its predecessors. In addition to that, it is said that the smartphone comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Other features, but have not yet been revealed.
