Hyundai Elantra facelift have recently surfaced online and this time around the car dropped a fair amount of camouflage revealing its ready-to-production appearance. The car will come with a host of style updates both on the outside as well as on the inside, with a bunch of new and up-to-date features. Visually, the latest images confirm that the Elantra facelift will have a heavily updated face that comes with many geometric design elements.

Hyundai Elantra comes with a larger waterfall grille with chrome details, while new sharper triangular headlamps penetrate the section of the grille . The car receives projector lamps along the sequential integrated LED daytime running lights, bordered by LED position lights and turn signals at each end. The front bumper is very aggressive thanks to sharp, sculpted lines and triangle-shaped fog lights, which are flanked by small air intakes.
Hyundai Elantra Facelift gets updates from the front and rear parts
On the sides, the Hyundai Elantra facelift continues to present its coupe-like roofline, which seamlessly joins the revised boot lid. Interestingly, the model's name has been moved to the center, just below the Hyundai logo, which adds a more premium touch to the overall appearance of the car. The taillights have also been reworked and, as we have seen in some previous spying plans, they will also be equipped with a new cluster concept. The license plate case has been moved to the bumper, but the wheels have been camouflaged, although they appear to be temporary units. Although we do not have to see the cabin in these images, Hyundai is likely to make some updates inside too.
Hyundai Elantra Facelift Will Receive Revised Taillights and Redesigned Boot
Under the hood, the 2019 Hyundai Elantra is expected to continue to operate with 2.0 gasoline engines liters and 1.6-liter diesel engines. Overall, the Elantra facelift is also likely to get a new gasoline engine, perhaps the SmartStream G1.6 liter petrol engine that produces 121 hp and 154 Nm peak torque. The engine is coupled with Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT), which is essentially a CVT unit.
