Brent oil rose 88 cents to $ 75.33 a barrel, a gain of 1.18%
Petroleum Marketing Companies (MOCs) Increased Oil Prices 39, gasoline and diesel for the third day in a row Saturday. According to the IOC (Indian Oil Corporation) rate chart, gasoline is now sold at Rs. 76.95 per liter in Delhi and at Rs. 84.33 per liter in Mumbai. The prices of gasoline in Kolkata and Chennai are at Rs. 79.61 per liter and Rs. 79.87 per liter respectively. The diesel can be purchased at Rs. 68.61 per liter in Delhi. Diesel prices are at Rs. 72.80 per liter in Mumbai, Rs. 71.16 per liter in Calcutta and Rs. 72.43 per liter in Chennai, said IOC, the country's largest fuel retailer.
The above rates are applicable from 6 am on July 14, 2018. State-run oil trading companies Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum revise fuel prices from 6 hours each day. The government has allowed the review of fuel rates on a daily basis since mid-June last year to instantly reflect cost changes.
