Instagram Becomes Insistent with the Bar Stories Consistent

Instagram really wants you to follow stories posted by your friends. The Verge reports.

For some, it might be a little disconcerting to see the Stories bar on the top all the time, but for those who share more of these ephemeral clips, it'll be handy.

Starting this week, you can add a soundtrack to your stories on Instagram.

While recording stories with background sound was possible earlier, the new addition allows you to choose a track before or after recording the video, reports Engadget. All you have to do is tap a photo or video and a music icon will appear. Tap on to choose from the library to search and add a track.

To meet the needs of users residing in developing countries with erratic Internet connectivity and entry-level devices with little storage, Instagram has recently announced the Lite app version. Instagram Lite for Android is now available in some countries and it started testing in Mexico this week, reported TechCrunch.

As its name indicates, the application is a dimmed version of the original Instagram and weighs 1 / 55th the size of the main application You can publish photos, stories and browse the Explorer tab. However, this does not allow you to share videos or Direct Message friends.
