Jio announced a new cashback to boost the sales of its 4G portable JioFi router. Under this offer, customers will receive a refund of Rs. 500, which lowers the effective price of the JioFi device to Rs. 499. In September last year, Jio had reduced the price of the portable router from Rs. 1999 to Rs. 999. To benefit from the new refund offer, users must purchase a new JioFi unit and those who already own the device are not eligible. The offer will take effect from July 3, and no date has yet been unveiled.
The JioFi cashback offer requires that users purchase the device and a new postpaid SIM card that will be used there. They must then opt for a postpaid minimum R package. 199 value, and pay the bill for the same for 12 months. After the 12 month period is over, they will get Rs. 500 cashback credit which will be adjusted over the next billing cycles. For those who do not know, the postpaid Jio at Rs. 199 offers 25GB of free data and voice calls, unlimited SMS and premium subscriptions to Jio apps for consumers.
This new Jio offer comes a few days after the announcement of a new Jio Oppo Monsoon offer with benefits of up to Rs. 4,900 on. The offer, which runs until September 25, offers a refund of Rs. 1800 in the form of Rs. 50 vouchers. There will also be some good MakeMyTrip worth Rs. 1300 as part of the offer, with Jio Money up to Rs. 1800 at the purchase of the Rs. 299 pack for 36 months.
Also in June, Jio gave users 1.5 GB of additional data per day on all packs with a daily data cap. This means that all packs are sold between Rs. 149 and Rs. 799 will get 1.5 GB of additional data per day for the entire validity period.
