Kawasaki has launched a new black color option for its Z900RS retro offer in India. The price of the new color option is maintained at Rs 15.30 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). That said, the figure is the same as the two already existing shades, namely Candytone Brown and Candytone Orange. The Kawasaki Z900RS pays tribute to the retro clbadic Z1 of the 1970s while having the modern heart and technology of the current Z900. The Kawasaki Z900RS is built on the same platform as the Z900. The power supply of the Kawasaki Z900 RS is the same 900 cc four-cylinder engine that powers the Z900. However, the power output on the Z900RS has been attenuated to 109 hp compared to 123 bhp offered on the Z900. The engine is coupled to a six-speed transmission system.
Yutaka Yamashita, general manager of India's Kawasaki Motor, said by introducing the new black color for the Kawasaki Z900RS that the introduction of Z900RS in India in February was a kind of success. This is due to the fact that this model is produced in very limited numbers in Japan.
