The Xiaomi AirDots wireless headphones were launched in China and will compete against Apple AirPods. AirDots support Bluetooth 5.0 for wireless connectivity and offer up to four hours of playback time. The ear cups come with a charging case that can charge the device up to 12 hours. AirDots weigh only 4.2 grams.
The Xiaomi AirDots cost 199 yuan (about 2098 rupees) and their price is much cheaper than that offered by Apple. As we mentioned earlier, headphones can be charged via the charging case and turn off when they are placed inside the box, according to a report from phoneradar. In addition, when they are out of the box, they automatically connect to the last connected device.
Due to Bluetooth 5.0, disconnections would have been reduced to a minimum, according to the report. Users can control the music, answer calls using the touch buttons located on either side of the AirDots, which is convenient. The headphones also support two-way alarms and there is no indication that the product will be available in the Indian market. The Xiaomi AirDots Youth Edition will go on sale November 11 on Xiaomi Mall, Tmall, Suning, etc.
