New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki, the largest car manufacturer in the country, has recalled more than 800 Ciaz facade cladding models in order to 39 inspect and eventually replace the speedometer badembly

A total of 880 units of the model were recalled. now, which were manufactured between August 1 and September 21, 2018, according to a press report.

The recall only applies to the zeta and alpha variants of the new Maruti Ciaz. All the customer needs is the chbadis number of the new Ciaz (MA3 followed by a 14-digit alphanumeric number) on the Ciaz website.

Launched in India in August, the price of the new Ciaz starts at Rs 8.19. Lakh ex-Delhi showroom and is available in four variants: Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha with petrol and diesel engine option.

The facelift version of Maruti Suzuki Ciaz comes with the new grille, headlights and new alloys. Inside, the car received a new dashboard and telematics system "Suzuki Connect".
