Microsoft's new Windows 10 19H1 test release adds a new light theme, more updates, and more printing options

Not everyone is a fan of the dark theme of Windows. (Hard to believe, I know.) For those who prefer to go into the light, Microsoft introduces a new Windows Light theme – as well as a number of additional tweaks in its latest Windows 10 19H1 test release.

This test version of Windows 10, # 18282, that Microsoft deploys November 14th with Fast Ring Insiders, adds a new lighting theme that turns on all elements of the system's user interface . This includes the taskbar, the start menu, the action center, a robust keyboard, and so on. As part of this new light theme, Microsoft adds a new default wallpaper highlighting Windows Light. Today's test version includes a fix for a problem that prevents some users from setting values. default Win32 program for certain combinations of application and file types using the Open with … via option or Settings> Applications> Default applications.

Microsoft makes it easy to find the suspend updates feature by making this option more visible directly on the Settings> Update & Security> Windows Update page. The pause can be activated for a predefined number of days or up to the specific day. Microsoft also allows users with changing calendars to set the Active Hours setting (which indicates when a device should not be restarted), so that it automatically adapts to the device's activity. . (Users must enable this setting manually.)

Microsoft adds new print options with version 18282 and adds icons to help users find the ones they need. The current test version also adds the requested window clipping option to its Snip & Sketch feature.
