Discovered first by Twitter tipster Ro Land Quandt the Samsung device in question was powered by its own Exynos 7885 chipset that already powering the Galaxy A8 (2018) last year and the Galaxy A8 Plus (2018). The list also shows that the handset is using 4 GB of RAM, indicating that it could be the base model of the next generation of the A8 series. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with the Samsung UI on the top.

While the naming of the Galaxy A7 appellation is found on the device, it should be noted that the SM-A730F of the 39, last year was rather Galaxy A8 Plus. The A8 + 2018 bore the model number SM-A730xx while the A7 2017 had the model number SM-A720xx.
