Yesterday, a brand new trailer of Spider-Man: Far From Home was put on the Internet, a trailer containing a bombshell: the unveiling of a Multiverse MCU , apparently opened by various Infinity Gauntlet Snappings in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame .
Today, a new clip from the film came with courtesy Ellen and explains to some extent how this Multiverse business works for newcomers. Of course, this explanation comes through Mysterio himself, and it is famous that we trust Mysterio but but that's what we need to work on for now, so Let's listen to it:

So, if Mysterio is to believe here ( note: I can not believe I just typed ), the reality of the MCU is Dimension 616, while Mysterio comes from Earth 833. The worlds are largely identical and share many constants, but each is unique in its own way. For example, the Earth 833 Mysterio may not be a known liar, and Parker, Fury and his friends should trust him. Maybe not.
The news of yesterday has sparked a lot of debate among Marvel fans, with reactions ranging from "I sincerely believe" to "Not a word of this Multiverse affair is true". We are guessing that the truth lies somewhere in the middle, the multiverse being a reality but Mysterio does not come from another dimension. You are, of course, free to disagree with this prediction, but we will let this bet last until . Spider-Man: Far From Home will be playing on July 2nd.
