New Enfield Royal Bike: Royal Enfield Teases New Motorcycle for EICMA 2018

NEW DELHI: Before the launch of its new 650cc motorcycles in India, Royal Enfield again teased another bike that will be unveiled at the EICMA 2018 (Milan motorcycle show) on November 6, 2018.

The company released a teaser image of the next model under cover, which looks like a bobber-style motorcycle. In addition to the silhouette of the bike, it reveals a round headlamp with LED daytime running lights and the brand logo on the fuel tank in a slightly different pattern.

Another thing that is quite clear is a single cantilever seat, like the one used on the Clbadic 350 and 500 models. However, it looks more like the one used on the Triumph Bonneville Bobber.

Some reports suggest that it will be the new Clbadic 650 model, while others claim that it is a bobber version of the new 650cc platform. One thing that is common in all reports is the use of the new 650cc parallel twin engine in the next bike.

This is the same air / oil cooled engine as used in the new Interceptor and Continental GT 650, unveiled at EICMA 2017 and recently launched on the international market. The company is also preparing the new 650cc twins for their launch in India, which will take place on November 16th.

In reviewing the company's overall strategy, one can also expect the mysterious Royal Enfield to enter the Indian market after a year of global unveiling.
