At least 119 H1N1 (swine flu) tests were conducted at the Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) and 12 people were found to be HIV-positive, according to officials.

SKIMS Director Dr. Omar Javaid A conversation with the Kashmir News Service (KNS) revealed that 119 H1N1 flu tests had been conducted at SKIMS until 10 November 2018, of which 12 positive and 107 negative .
He stated that until now, a death had occurred because of H1N1 recently.

However, he stated that the deceased patient actually suffered from cancer, but also from the H1N1 flu.

The director of SKIMS stated that none of these patients had been admitted to the institute, they were not in serious conditions.

"The institute is ready to deal with any kind of situation," said the director of SKIMS, adding that vaccination and badociated medications for dealing with the H1N1 virus were available at SKIMS.
