It seems that a new mode is going to be posted on PUBG for PC and, it seems, this is going to be a riot. This new mode is called platoon mode and it will pit 50 players against 50 other players in the same format as that of a Battle Royale.

The lens will be the same as usual. Your team must be the last man standing. You are divided into 5 sections of 10 players each. Friendly Fire has been disabled in this mode and members of your section are marked with a blue circle above their head. All the usual goals such as looting buildings, staying in the circle and avoiding red areas remain the same.

We can only badume that voice communication during the game will certainly be a good one when 10 players start to ransack their mics. The platoon mode was launched on October 18th for the PC version of the game.

This is not the first time that PUBG tries to switch to a 50 vs 50 mode. , a similar type of mode had been launched: it was called "Desert Knights," but server problems and crashes caused it to shut down in less than 24 hours. Fortnite has a similar 50 vs 50 mode that appears from time to time.
