Finally! The highly anticipated awards ceremony by the stars of Zee Cine Awards 2019 was aired Sunday afternoon, during which the Padmaavat and Sanju films won the highest honors. Award-winning speech by Ranbir Kapoor left Alia Bhatt and others a little moved.
Alia Bhatt came to present the award for the best Acor (man) and announced that it had been awarded to her beautiful Ranbir Kapoor for her breathtaking performance in Sanju. "The prize goes to Ranbir Kapoor, my favorite, from Sanju," she said.
Ranbir went to the stage and retrieved his reward from his lover. After that, the Sanju actor delivered a heartfelt speech, thanking everyone, and then dedicated his award to two very special people of his life: his father Rishi Kapoor and his mother Neetu Kapoor.
He also mentioned how Rishi Kapoor is currently going through a difficult time in his life because of his health. "I've often heard that when you get into a sort of crossroads of life, you can really tell who you are as a person," he said while talking about his father, currently being treated at United States. He also explained how his father often talks to him about movies and his lack of security. "He tells me about his insecurity: when he comes back, he will work in films, he will be offered films, will he be able to play in movies and that is what kind of inspiration, of pbadion and madness that brings all this with perspective. "
While Ranbir was talking about his father, one could see an Alia visibly moved, wiping his tears. Ranbir then talks about his mother Neetu Kapoor and says, "The kind of love, support that she shows to a tough man in a difficult time, is unconditional, it's beautiful, it is selfless and it is the most beautiful thing of life
