Mumtaz, a former actress, is doing fine and currently spending time with her daughter Tanya Madhvani in London,

Tanya posted on Instagram a video in which she badured fans from Mumtaz that the actress of the past is fit and well.

"Hello, it's just a post to say that my mother is fine.It's in London Komal Nahta has started rumors and is not listening to them.She sends her love and embraces you all," Tanya said in the clip and captioned: "So exhausting another rumor about the death of my mother, she is healthy and beautiful as usual and asked me to let her fans know that she's fine, everything is nil. The rumors began to circulate after the film critic and trade badyst, Komal Nahta, announced on his official nickname the disappearance of Mumtaz. However, he later deleted his tweet and apologized.

Director Milap Zaveri also addressed to Twitter to dispel rumors by stating that the actress is "alive and absolutely perfect."

This is not the first time that Mumtaz has fallen prey to 39, a hoax of death. In April of last year, Tanya had dismissed rumors about her mother's poor health in a video message.
