Vivo launched last month the Vivo Z1 in China. It's a mid-range smartphone, which is powered by Snapdragon 660 SoC and 4GB of RAM. Now, it seems that Vivo plans to extend its Z series, adding another smartphone dubbed the Vivo Z1i.
The phone was spotted on Slashleaks, giving us an idea of the design of the smartphone and some specifications. The leak mentions the upcoming device with a 6.26-inch screen with a full HD resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels. This means that the phone will not be a notch like the Vivo Z1. The phone is also touted as running on a Snapdragon SoC 636 and 4GB of RAM with 128GB of storage.
It is said that the dual camera configuration at the back consists of a 13-megapixel sensor, labeled next to a 2 megapixel sensor. The Vivo Z1 can be used for depth measurement and bokeh shooting, with the same 16-megapixel camera on the front, which will probably be supported by AI functions. is suggested to be running on Android 8.1 Oreo and will be packaging a 3.180mAh battery.

The post also mentions the phone priced at RMB 1,998 (about Rs 20,700), which is very close to the introductory price of Vivo Z1 of RMB 1,798 (about Rs 19,250). There is still no word from the Vivo Z1 coming to India, which leads us to doubt whether the Vivo Z1i will ever come to the Indian market either.
