Tata Motors unveils Harrier production specification with the deployment of the first SUV

After being teased with a concept car, videos and spy photos, Tata Motors finally released official images of the Tata Harrier production specification.

The designers promised an SUV that would look as much like the H5X concept car and they do not disappoint. Built around Tata's Impact Design 2.0, the Harrier has the same slit as the concept car's headlights and grille. the front bumper. Lateral profile with aggressive contours, a stiff roofline and large wheel sizes are also reported.

The interior is expected. to be the best that Tata has to offer with its electronic package. It is also expected that the Harrier will get a 7-seater variant later with the launch of the 5-seater.

But the real advantage of the SUV is the brand new 2 Kryotec liter derived from FCA Multijet II, visible on the Jeep Compbad. It will be a four-cylinder turbo engine capable of producing 140 hp for 5 seats and 170 hp for 7 seats. You also have the choice between a 6-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed automatic.

The Harrier platform is based on Jaguar Land Rover's D8 SUV platform, but Tata calls it the Omega Arc (Modular Optimized Optimized Global Evolved Architecture). cheaper materials and components while keeping costs down.
