Tata launched the JTP Tigor program in India at Rs 7.49 lakhs (ex-showroom). It is a compact sedan and a brother of Tiago JTP. The JTP Tigor is a niche vehicle because its high-end model is almost cheaper than the equivalent JTP model. This puts the Tigor JTP in competition with groups such as the Volkswagen Polo GT TSI and the Maruti Baleno RS, two high-end sedans sporting intentions.
