TCNS Clothing raises Rs 337 from major investors

New Delhi, Jul 17 (PTI) The women's clothing manufacturer TCNS Clothing Company today raised more than 337 crores of rupee anchor investors, before its initial sale of shares tomorrow.

TCNS Clothing allocated 47,14210 equity shares to 18 principal investors at Rs 716 per scrip, which yielded Rs 337.54 crore, according to a regulatory filing.

Among the principal investors, Goldman Sachs India Ltd., Auburn Ltd., Fidelity Securities Fund Fidelity Blue Chip Growth Fund, DB International Asia Ltd., ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Ltd. and UBS Principal Capital Asia Ltd.

The price range for the initial public offering (IPO), which will end on July 20, has been set at Rs 714-716 per share of equity.

TCNS Clothing is expected to raise nearly Rs 1,125 crore through the offer.

The firm had filed draft documents with the Securities and Exchange Board of India to float an IPO in February and received the go-ahead from the regulator in May

According to the draft documents, just over 1.57 crore action needs to be unloaded through the purchase offer (OFS). Among others, the promoters – Onkar Singh Pasricha and Arvinder Singh Pasricha – will unload the shares of the IPO

Kotak Mahindra Capital Company Ltd. and Citigroup Global India Pvt. Ltd. are the main book managers for the company. ;offer.

As at September 30, 2017, TCNS sold its products through 418 exclusive outlets, 1,305 large format outlets and 1,361 multi-brand outlets in different regions of the country. It has also sold products through six exclusive brands in Nepal, Mauritius and Sri Lanka. PTI VRN VRN BAL
