Former IWGP heavyweight champion Kenny Omega leaves Japan and heads for the United States. In recent weeks, fans have speculated on the potential of this talented wrestler.
The most obvious choice for fans was AEW's. As we know, AEW was created by The Omega's friends of The Elite. That said, there was also talk of his stint at ROH, Impact Wrestling and, of course, at WWE.
Following the latest episode of The Young Bucks' YouTube series, "Being The Elite", it now seems like we have our answer. Episode 136, titled "How dare you challenge me," includes a segment where Matt Jackson is on the phone with Omega after the star has lost it and apparently found it for this call. After saying that he would soon see Omega, the phone would show a countdown.
The importance of the clock is extremely interesting as it ends in a little over nine days. In fact, it ends the same day as the AEW ticketing party for Double or Nothing in Las Vegas.
The resulting impression is that Omega will be there and confirm its place within AEW as many fans predict.
