Rallapalli Narasimha Rao (73 years old) died today late in the evening. He had been suffering from health problems for a few days and finally gave up his last breath today.
He was hospitalized at Max Cure Hospital in Hyderabad and died Friday night at 6 pm. Rallapalli has played in more than 850 films.
He played critical roles in such films as Bombay and Minsara Kanavu in Tamil.
He received three Nandi State Awards, including the Nandi Award for Best Actor in 1976 for the National Award winning film, Oorummadi Brathukulu, the Nandi Award for Best Male Actor in 1986 and the Nandi Award for Best actor in a supporting role – television for Ganapathi.
