The new Atlantic City casinos are opening their doors to players Wednesday a day earlier than planned.
The Hard Rock and Ocean Resort Casino, which had been closed earlier, were scheduled to open Thursday, but both were given permission Wednesday afternoon from the New Jersey Gaming Division to begin operations.
Both properties still plan large openings developed Thursday.
David Rebuck, director of the games execution division, said that Hard Rock had been allowed to fully operate at 3 pm and that Ocean Resort had been cleared at 5:45 pm Both wereted little of time to let players inside, even as they argue for people to come to their grand openings scheduled on Thursday.

They were two of five Atlantic City casinos that had closed since 2014. Together, they will restore about 6,000 of the 11,000 jobs lost in closures.
Tom Fortunato, of Lynbrook, New York, came to Atlantic City not knowing that the Hard Rock was open early, and simply wandered inside.
"It looks great," said Fortunato, who said he visited Trump Taj Mahal "more times than I want to admit it."
"It's amazing what they did with," he said.
One striking thing about the first night of the casino: the absence of any noticeable cigarette smell, with the casino only a few hours away.
"It's really light and fresh here," said Paul Wolowski, of Hicksville, New York. It smells even good here. "
Those who remember the tidy taste of Donald and Ivana Trump from the Taj Mahal era will not recognize the place: the rows of chandeliers that dominate the view as guests climb the main escalator up to At the casino are gone, supplanted by a giant silver guitar hanging from the ceiling. There's even a New Jersey memory room, including the handwritten lyrics of Debbie Harry's "Dreaming" of Blondie (a Hawthorne native) with stuff from Bon Jovi, Wyclef Jean, Southside Johnny and a telegram from Western Union confirming a payment of $ 20,000. Charles will give a concert on Steel Pier in Atlantic City in 1978.
