This was first reported by Abacus News, who has seen many videos of users posted on the Chinese social network Weibo, showing the anomaly. The Vivo Nex series is the first to introduce a pop-up camera on the front, in place of a regular selfie lens, which also helps maintain the phone's full-screen display and a report / screen high body.

The Vivo Nex was spotted through a series of videos, one of which showed the camera pop-up appears, as the user was browsing through the Telegram app. As the user in question typed on a contact to check its details, Vivo Nex's selfie device made a brief appearance before slipping into the main body.

Some have observed this bug in action, even though they used the QQ browser, a Tencent Holding product. Another video on Weibo shows the selfie camera pop-up, as a user checks the travel booking details on the Ctrip website. In this case, the camera returns to its original position once the user has been redirected to the Ctrip application. In response to the bug, Tencent has been reported saying that the QQ browser uses the camera for a short while, although it does not record anything.

Vivo has not yet responded to the bug, although the Abacus report indicates that his technical team is aware of the vulnerability.
