This year was very busy for Microsoft and Rare in particular, with the release of the Sea of Thieves sailing game. Although the game has received a lot of criticism for not having much to do, it seems that the new content of Sea of Thieves is still coming.
There has recently been at least one new post-launch content for Sea of Thieves, the Hungering Deep, in which players embark on a quest to kill a gigantic prehistoric shark known as Megalodon. However, this pack has also been criticized for being very short (once you have killed the Megalodon, there is nothing else).
The Microsoft E3 2018 conference gave us news of the next content group, called Cursed Sails. Cursed Sails will bring out a new island, an additional threat of ghost pirate ships equipped with skeletons, a new three-person ship called the brigantine. All this is supposed to happen a little later this month.
But in addition to these, there are three new Sea of Thieves content packs to come out later this year. The news comes from two senior Rare staff, studio head Craig Duncan and design director Mike Chapman, and Chapman said the new updates would come out after Cursed Sails, so there's still a way to go before they know exactly these three updates will result.
Whatever it is, I hope everyone will add more and more content to a game that, just weeks after its release, was already criticized by a large number of players on the # 39; absence of any new content in the game. Quests
We will have to see what Cursed Sails and the new Sea of Thieves content packs will have for players later in the year.
