Sita (Kajal) is a clever and money – conscious businesswoman. She goes to Basavaraju (Sonu Sood) for help when she has problems. He, on the other hand, helps with a condition. Sita must be her lover for a month. She denies and all hell is unleashed. Basavaraju creates problems for her and her business. Meanwhile, Sita's father dies, leaving all his money to Ram (Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas). Sita can get her from Ram, again a condition attached. Who is Ram? What is the condition?
Is the film an unofficial remake of by Rain Man (1988), an American drama comedy. Writers Teja and Lakshmi Bhupala add their own Tollywood elements to the screenplay to give the film an indigenous flavor. In their attempt, they end up reminding the public of some obsolete flavors.
Sita did well to present her hero (Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas) 25 minutes after the heroine (Kajal Aggarwal) came to the screen. It's pretty daring. Very early, the film makes a mistake by presenting his villain (Sonu Sood) as a cheap womanizer. His motives should have been concealed until the interval or until the middle of the first half. In this case, the public would have been unanswered about why the powerful villain (he is rich and a ruthless politician) is after Sita and why Sita is looking for the hero in Bhutan.
Teja's obsessions with certain elements are very stubborn. . For example, we have seen how secondary characters have been involved in key scenes since Jayam . At first, it seemed refreshing. We are in 2019. Such ideas have lost their appeal.
The first half supports at least the interest with its decent principle, the character of the hero and the comedy. But the second half is rich in problems. The wickedness of Sonu Sood becomes too monotonous. Comedians Bithiri Sathi and Abhinav Gomathy do not add much to the value of entertainment even if they generate laughter at first.
The climax looks like a big stretch with all these unrealistic action plans and old-fashioned stories.
Kajal Aggarwal's performance and his self-obsessed, selfish, heartless character are interesting. Her equations with the hero and the way she abuses her innocence are also interesting on paper. But the performance is not up to par. How Bellamkonda fare? He plays an unconventional character who is mocked as a hero of Swathi Muthyam by the heroine. Having seen him play hero roles of routine action, that's welcome. The director should have made it even more sympathetic to the public eye, but by the end, Bellamkonda will play his typical role in the action.
Sonu Sood is superb as a villain who takes advantage of the insults of his badistant Tanikella Barani. He gets a full-fledged role and shines even in monotonous scenes. Others, including Mannara Chopra and Bhagyaraj, are only very good.
The songs of Anup Rubens are sifting through (Bulaldy of Payal Rajput is a big screen disappointment) is the main badet in the first half. The film needs a better cut. Lakshmi Bhupala writes good dialogues again.
Sita has an interesting postulate based on Rain Man . Although this is attracting interest in the first half, the film is wasting its potential in the second half. Some scenes are too long and climax sequences are testing patience. Good start, boring end.
