The rear section of the upcoming SUV, revealed in the design, does look amazingly like his brothers and sisters riding, not even the concept T-Cross Breeze 2016. While his concept and other VW SUVs feature wraparound tail lights, the T-Cross will have a unity of width. The taillights, however, feature geometric details in a typical VW fashion.

At 4107mm, the T-Cross will be around 160mm and 220mm smaller than the Hyundai Creta and the Renault Captur / Duster, respectively. It remains to be seen whether VW will reduce it to less than 4 meters and position it alongside other sub-SUV SUVs like the Vitara Brezza and EcoSport in India. This would allow the automaker to make it more affordable for the Indian market.

The T-Cross, for example, is only 54mm longer than the sixth-generation Polo (Euro-spec) will be reduced less than 4m here. Nevertheless, the German car manufacturer promises a spacious offer with a flexible cabin. The T-Cross comes with a sliding rear seat, a first for the segment, to change (increase / decrease) the space for the legs and the trunk.

Volkswagen also released a video on the upcoming T-Cross showing the front profile sketch. While the rear profile has taken a different approach compared to the concept of 2016, the front looks pretty like the car's exposure. The grille and headlights have been merged into one unit, as you see on the new Touareg. The large square shaped fog lights are identical to those we see on the concept. Speaking of the interior of T-Cross, the SUV should share its cabin with the new Polo, including some of its features.

The T-Cross will be under the T-Roc Cela has been confirmed for Europe, China and South America. In India, if Volkswagen launches the T-Cross without reducing its overall length, it will compete with SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, the next Renault Duster and the Nissan Kicks, as well as the Skoda 2020 made-for-India SUV. The overall revelation of the 2019 T-Cross is scheduled for the third quarter of 2018 (between September and December).
