Two Israeli researchers think so. They discovered that by exposing people to short extracts of "Spider-Man" and "Ant-Man" movies, their spider and ants phobias were reduced.

Menachem Ben-Ezra of Ariel University School of Social Work and Yaakov Hoffman of The Interdisciplinary Department of Social Sciences of Bar-Ilan University published his findings in the Frontiers Journal of Psychiatry last week.
