Xiaomi Mi A2 prices still leaked by online retailers before the July 24 launch

We are just days away from the official launch of the Xiaomi Mi A2 in Spain. But there does not seem to be an end to all the leaks around the smartphone. Before the launch, another couple of online retailers listed the Xiaomi smartphone as well as its price and specifications.

The Xiaomi Mi A2 was spotted on e-retailers' websites in Poland and Romania before. Now it has been listed by Chinese and British e-traders, and both also accept pre-orders for the device that still has to be launched, GSMArena reports. It is interesting to note that these two sites list only Mi A2, and not Mi A2 Lite.

The eGlobal Central store and the UK Banggood store in the United Kingdom have listed the Xiaomi Mi A2 RAM 64GB + 4GB variant. The UK website mentions the price of £ 209.99 (about Rs 19,000), which is claims after a 13 percent discount. The Chinese site, meanwhile, mentions the price of Rs 16.105, down from Rs 18.907.05

The price on the Chinese website seems more credible, and is close to that the Xiaomi Mi A1 was launched last year. As last year, the Xiaomi Mi 6X will be renamed Xiaomi Mi A2 for global markets. The major differentiator between the two models will be the stock operation system. This year however, rumors allude to the launch of a second model, dubbed Mi A2 Lite.

Xiaomi Mi A2 expected specifications, features

The Xiaomi Mi A2 should display a 6-inch FHD + 18: 9 screen, and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC. Two variants offer you: 64GB + 4GB RAM and 128GB + 6GB RAM

The smartphone will also be equipped with a dual camera on the back with a combination of 12 megapixel and 20 megapixel sensors. For selfies, there will be a 20 megapixel sensor at the front. On the software side, the device is expected to run Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box.

The Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite, on the other hand, is expected to present a smaller screen with a 19: 9 aspect ratio and a notch in above. Under the hood is said to be a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC 625, and there will be two variants to choose from – 32GB + 3GB RAM, and 64GB + 4GB RAM. It will be supported by a 4000mAh battery, and will work Android 8.1 Oreo stock.

Based on a recent leak, the Mi A2 Lite 32GB variant should be priced at € 200 (around Rs 16,100), while the 64GB variant should be priced at € 245 (around Rs 19,700).
