The successor to Mi Mix 2, aka Mi Mix 3 is coming soon. As a reminder, Xiaomi launched the Mi Mix 2 last September. It's in the same month this year that the company can launch the successor device. This means that we can see Xiaomi launch the Mi Mix 3 in September of this year. The Chinese OEM, however, has not yet revealed the details of the phone's launch timeline. Months before the launch, rumors and leaks on the Mi Mix 3 began to make laps on the internet. A new leak suggests, unlike the Mi Mix 2, that the Mi Mix 3 will be equipped with a Vivo Nex auto-pop camera on the front

Overall, the design of the Mi Mix 3 will be very different from the one of Mi Mix 3 the Mi Mix 2, suggests newly disclosed renderings. To remember, the Mi Mix 2 has the selfie camera placed in the lower bezel. The scenario will not be the same for the Mi Mix 3. The alleged renderings of the Mi Mix 3 show a self-portrait camera Vivo Nex type (see photo above).

If you remember, in 2015, Xiaomi had filed for a patent for the front camera that revealed that the company could introduce a self-portrait camera technology pop-up in the near future. Looks like the patent will soon become a reality with the Mi Mix 3. How will the camera work? When selecting the selfie camera option on the phone's phone application, the front-facing camera gets up (or pops up) and retracts from the top edge of the phone and clicks the selfie. The renditions of the Mi Mix 3 show that the camera selfie pop-up will be delivered with an LED flash, to capture clear selfies in low light.

In addition, leak renderings also show the Mi Mix 3 without a back. Fingerprint sensor mounted. Which means that the fingerprint sensor on the Mi Mix 3 will be placed under the screen, just like the Mi 8 launched recently. Renders show the Mi Mix 3 with ultra-thin borders on all sides.

The elusive renderings show not only the design of the Mi Mix 3 at the front, but also the design of the back panel. Going through the renderings, the Mi Mix 3 will come with two cameras on the back panel, where the two cameras will be separated with an LED flashlight. The positioning of the two rear cameras looks a lot like the iPhone X. The renderings show the Mi Mix 3 in white color. Xiaomi, however, can introduce more color options for the phone.

At the moment, we do not know much about the Mi Mix 3. All we know is that the device will come with flagship specifications Processor 845, Android 8.1 Oreo and more .
