Jaipur: While 120 cases of Zika had already been reported, the Minister of Health, Kalicharan Saraf, called on the population not to panic. Three people were found infected by Zika on Sunday. Of the three new cases, two belong to Shastri Nagar and one was found infected at the Rajput Inn. This is the 25th case of Zika's detention at the Rajput Inn.

In areas affected by zika, patients with seasonal fever go to clinics and hospitals panicking, asking doctors if they suffer from zika. They ask doctors to have Zika tests done.

"There is nothing to panic about. However, every patient with fever does not need to be tested for zika. If a pregnant woman has a fever, a test is needed, "said Dr. Raman Sharma, a professor of medicine at the Sawai Man Singh School of Medicine.

Dr. Sharma said that it was necessary to control mosquito breeding in homes. "People should not allow mosquito breeding in their homes. This will help prevent mosquito-borne diseases such as dengue fever, chikungunya and zika, "said Dr. Sharma.

The Ministry of Health said that of those tested positive in Zika, the majority of them were doing well. "Out of 120 people tested positive in Zika, 105 have already been recovered. They are doing well, "said Dr. Ravi Prakash Mathur, Acting Director (Rural Health) of the Department of Health. In addition, health department officials distribute mosquito control products to people diagnosed with zika.
