REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, CHIANG RAI – The badistants feel pessimistic and lose the hope of finding 12 boys and their football coaches. The research process was conducted for a week in a submerged cave complex in northern Thailand.

They found no sign of the group's safety. Divers from Thailand's SEAL elite SEAL units search the murky waters that fill the trajectories of the Tham Lang Caves for 10 kilometers. The failed rescue effort has done away with hopes.

Even international teams, including 30 US military, joined the search for the missing junior football group on Saturday (30/6) yesterday. The research effort was also blocked by heavy rains.

Divers still have a way to cross a rescue point, called Pattaya Beach, referring to Thailand's most famous tourist destinations. "The distance we can travel is probably two to three kilometers," Narongsak Osottanakorn, governor of Chiang Rai province, told the press.

Meanwhile, a police team entered the cave. They drilled a 50-meter hole on the side of the mountain. Boxes of food, water and lamps had been prepared on Friday, but until Saturday, the hole was not enough for the attendants to go down into the cavern.
