"Maya will walk insha Allah, within three months," said Dr. Mehmet Zeki Culcu, prosthetic specialist, to treat him in a clinic in Istanbul as reported by The Telegraph , Saturday (30/6).

Maya comes from the region of Aleppo. He lives with his father in a camp for displaced people in the Idlib region of northern Syria. He was a victim of the Syrian civil war for seven years.

The father and daughter were evacuated from Syria by the Turkish government and taken to Istanbul for treatment in a special clinic. Maya, like his father, Mohammad can move more easily by crawling. But the operation that he lived how many years later has reduced the length of his limbs.

"After the surgery, he can not move and sit all the time in the tent to get out of the tent, I make him a foot," said Mohammad.

Dr. Culcu said that he was deeply touched by Maya's photographs walking with his cans. Then he decided to help with the cost.

"We have been contacted by people around the world who want to donate, but the case is closed and I will bear the cost," he said.
