– The fight of Walter Carr, a 20-year-old man from Alabama, has sweet fruit.
The man received a car from the boss he was working for.
Tribun-Video.com launch usatoday.com Thursday (19/7/2018), Carr was accepted to work in a company, but the day before his first day of work, Nissan Altima 2013 his property is broken.
He tried to repair his car, but to no avail.
Carr also phoned his friends for a ride, but also without success.
He then looked at GPS when he was walking it would take him 7 hours from his homewood home, Alabama to Pelham.
The distance between his house and his office is about 20 miles or 32 km.
Carr also decided to walk, he left at midnight.
"I want to be able to arrive before 8:00 am I want to go before others to let the company know how dedicated I am," he said.
Carr had traveled 22 miles to Pelham when police saw him by the roadside around 4 pm local time.
When asked, he told the police that he was going to work.
After hearing his story, the police decided to take Carr's breakfast at Whataburger and give him a ride.
The police then dropped him off at the First Methodist Church and said that they would send someone to interrogate him
From there he still had to walk 4 miles or so 6 km, but other officers found him and escorted him.
The police officer then lodged it with Jenny Hayden Lamey, which would help her on her first day of work.
Lamey was impressed by Carr's fight, and he shared Carr's story on Facebook.
When he talks with Carr, Lamey knows if Carr is a sailor.
Carr revealed that he and his mother moved to Birmingham after losing their home in New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina.
Lamey's message became viral and drew the attention of Luka Marklin, CEO of Bellhops on Sunday (15/7/2018).
Marklin was also impressed by Carr and decided to give his personal Ford Escape to Carr.
Lamey also launched the GoFundMe campaign to help Carr's finances.
Carr also thanked all parties for the response he's received since his story became viral.
