PVMBG Ministry of ESDM has won the high performance award in the monitoring and crisis management of the volcano of the world's largest volcanic organization namely the International Association of Volcanology and Chemistry of 39; Inside the Earth (IAVCEI).
This prize will be submitted to coincide with the implementation of Cities on Volcanoes in Naples from 2 to 7 September 2018.
The head of the PVMBG ministry of ESDM Kasbani explained that the IAVCEI award is the first time and that there has been no organization of volcanology of other countries, who has never received it.
"The badessment is based on the aspects of monitoring volcanoes and how the institution organizes volcanic crises both before, during and after eruptions," he said.
According to Kasbani, this award is a proud achievement because of the hundreds of volcanic organizations around the world, PVMBG was elected the first organization to receive it.
This shows that what PVMBG has done up to here has been good, so it has enjoyed the largest volcanic organization in the world, IAVCEI.
In his official broadcast on Wednesday (27/6), the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Ignatius Jonan, appreciated the achievement score achieved by PVMBG and hopes in the future will be able to still be there. ;improve.
