America requests an investigation into the murder of Jamal Khashoggi

Earlier, the President of the United States, Donald Trump, had stated that he was very eager to know that the case had taken its roots. Saudi Arabia is an ally of the United States in the Middle East who do not like Iran. Saudi Arabia is also the biggest buyer of American arms.

Prosecutors in Saudi Arabia said Khashoggi's murder was planned. The statement contradicts the official statement of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia stating that the murder was committed accidentally during a fight at the office of the Consulate General of Saudi Arabia in Istanbul, Turkey on October 2, 2018 .
