Bamsoet inaugurates Gorontalo Graha and Papua New Zealand

INDOPOS.CO.ID – Bambang Soesatyo, Speaker of the Indonesian Parliament, inaugurated Graha Gorontalo and Papua Hall at the Indonesian Embbady in New Zealand.

He hopes that Graha Gorontalo will benefit Indonesian diaspora and students from New Zealand for the expression and preservation of Indonesian culture.

"The use of various activities in the Indonesian embbady building is helpful in reaffirming national identity and reminding the cultural richness of the homeland to the entire Indonesian diaspora, including children and the younger generations of people. Graha Gorontalo consists of two floors. The first floor is used as showroom for Indonesian products and culture. The second floor serves as a library containing documentation on printed and digital Indonesia.

In the field of scientists and academics, diasporas should be able to transfer their knowledge to Indonesia.

"I hope that the New Zealand diaspora will want to share its knowledge." The number of Indonesian diasporas reaching 10 million people worldwide can contribute to the country's revenues of up to billions of rupees.
