SM Unhas will follow two categories, namely Pop Show and Scenic Folklore.
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, MAKASSAR – Hasanuddin University Student Choir (PSM Unhas) becomes the representative of Indonesia at World Choir Games South Africa 2018. Competition this world level has occurred in the city of Tshwane, Gauteng Province (approximately 90 km north of Johannesburg), South Africa, from July 4 to 14, 2018.
PSM Unhas Andi Baso Chandra Buana Ma 'ruf in Makbadar, On Friday (29/6), the PSM Unms will follow two categories, namely Pop Show and Scenic Folklore.
"In the Pop Show category, PSM Unhas will bring four songs, Pop Indonesia, Pop Asia non Indonesia, Modern Western Pop and West Pop before 1950.
Regarding the scenic folklore category, the PSM Unhas will present the "South Sulawesi Enchantment" which is the first "Bugis Traditional Bridal" and the procession of Makbadar Phinisi and Mangrara Ton ceremony. All three are well packaged in the form of movement and songs that feature ethnic music traditional, ethnic songs, dances and costumes of the three ethnic groups featured.
To prepare for this competition, PSM Unhas is directed by Arik Anshari Sanusi as conductor and vocal coach, koreo coach, stylist costume designer, who also directs the PSM UNHAS

PSM Unhas is a student choir group that has embodied various international achievements. In 2017, PSM Unhas won the first Folklore category at the American International Choral Festival in New Jersey, United States.
