KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. The Jakarta Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) has not yet accepted the Phase III Rapid Mbad Transit (MRT).

Therefore, funding for phase III has not yet been decided by the DPRD. Despite this, the planned construction of MRT Phase III was prepared by PT MRT Jakarta.

"The development plan is already but the financing plan has not yet been submitted to DPRD," said DPRD Commission Chairman C, Santoso at Kontan.co.id on Thursday (28 / 6).

Meanwhile, the new DPRD focuses on funding Phase II. The financing phase II Santoso says comes from Japanese loans.

"If the financing phase II comes from Japan with the Regional Revenue Budget (APBD), the Japanese loan to the new center will be given to DKI Jakarta but later DKI Jakarta will pay," said Santoso.

Previously chairman of PT MRT Jakarta director William Sabandar disclosed the loan for Phase II development of MRT is about Rp 25 billion. 22.5 trillion rupees for phase II and 2.5 trillion rupees for additional phase I.

In the first phase, the required funding reached 16 trillion rupiahs. Phase I MRT will be operational at the end of March 2019 with Lebak Bulus at Roundabout Hotel Indonesia (HI).

While Phase II is expected to be completed in 2024 with HI Roundabout to Bandan Village.

After the phase III plan will be constructed on the west line with the Kembangan final station to the east of Ujung Menteng with a total phase III length of up to 27 kilometers (km).
