NEW DELHI – A family of 11 in India was found dead in New Delhi with 10 blind victims hanging from the ceiling. Initial reports indicated that the case was suspected of being a mbad suicide badociated with spiritual rituals, but the police said it did not rule out other possibilities.
Proclaimed RT Monday (2/7/2018), the bodies of seven women and four men were found in the Burari area, a suburb of New Delhi, Sunday, July 1. The bodies were found by neighbors who immediately contacted the police.

When the authorities arrived at the scene, they found 10 dead bodies with closed eyes and cotton ears hanging from iron bars held by cables and chunnis, scarves with religious motives. The body of the 11th victim, a man in his sixties, found lying on the ground choking on him.
Police stated that the victims were members of the same family and that they were suspected of committing suicide en mbade. The authorities found no forced entry into the house, no bullet wounds or no sign of murder.
According to reports, the police found handwritten notes indicating that the family had made a detailed preparation for "mbad rescue" and carefully searched for ways to hang themselves. No suicide note was found at the scene. Only a dog is found alive in the house.
"Based on the evidence, the victims are" observing certain spiritual or mystical practices, "police said in a statement.
"Coincidentally, these documents have a strong similarity in how the mouth, eyes, etc. of the deceased are attached and glued," the statement added.
Pending the autopsy report of the victims, including two 15-year-old boys, the police continue to examine the various possible causes of death and treat the incident as a murder case. The investigation team is still checking the victims' cell phone call records for clues and interviewing witnesses.

A version of the incident that was broadcast by an anonymous police source, mbad suicide began after the family member ate dinner with a drug dish. A family member then closes the eyes of another family member who is unconscious before hanging them.
