IDX: Five new actions are added to the LQ45 list

Jakarta (ANTARA News) – Indonesia Stock Exchange (EIB) said that there are five new shares listed in the group of 45 major stocks or LQ45 index in Indonesia capital market.

Head of IDX Trading Operational Division Irvan Susandy in the statement that was received by Antara in Jakarta on Wednesday, argued that the provision was based on the results of the valuation in July 2018 on the shares to be used in the calculation of the LQ45 index.

It was revealed that the five new shares: Sentul City Tbk (BKSL), Elnusa Tbk (ELSA), Indah Kiat Paste & Paper Tbk (INKP), Indo Tambangraya Megah Tbk (ITMG), and Medco Energi Internasional (MEDC ).

Meanwhile, shares have left the LQ45 index, Global Mediacom Tbk (BMTR) Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI), Hanson International Tbk (MYRX), Pakuwon Jati Tbk (PWON) and Trada Alam Minera Tbk ( TRAM).

"The list of incoming and outgoing shares in the calculation of the LQ45 index is valid for the exchange period from August 2018 to January 2019," said Irvan.

The LQ45 Index is an index of 45 stocks of listed companies selected based on liquidity considerations and market capitalization, with predetermined criteria. Stock selection and replacement is done every six months

The stock selection process included in the LQ45 index begins with the selection of 60 companies with the highest transaction value on the regular market over the course of the year. last 12 months. value of transactions, market capitalization, amount of daily transactions and frequency of transactions in the ordinary market for the last 12 months.

The shares must also be included in the calculation of the composite index (IHSG) and must be listed on the IDX at least three months. Equities must also have good financial health, growth prospects, high frequency of transactions and regular market transactions.
