TRIBUNNEWS.COM, SHANGHAI – The trade war between China and the United States has been going on since the beginning of 2018.

In January 2018, US President Donald Trump set a number of new tariff rules for products imported to America, such as washing machines, solar panels and electronic components.

Jack Ma, the founder of Alibaba e-commerce, said the warming war between the two countries was a fool.

"It's the stupidest thing in the world," Jack Ma said at the Trade Expo in Shanghai, China, as reported by Reuters on Monday (11/05/2018).

On this occasion, Jack Ma also commented on the business model applied in China, considered constraining for a number of business sectors. But Jack Ma think it will benefit many consumers.

"It will be very painful for many companies, but it will also create good opportunities for many consumers," he said.

Jack Ma also urged the Chinese government not to be afraid to continue to innovate, especially in the technology sector, so that the country can continue to grow.

"My point of view is this: do not worry about technology, people who are worried about technology are the first, the elderly, then the government and the third who are successful, they hate it and s 'worry about it,' said Jack Ma.

"I have never seen young people worry about technology," continued Jack Ma.
