Japanese rockets explode and burn when they are launched

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia – A rocket Japan exploded shortly after its launch. If only successful, this event will be the first time that a private enterprise of Sakura State will reach the space.

Rocket developed startup Japan, Interstellar Technologies Inc., exploded on the weekend after failing to take off in northern Japan.

Called MOMO-2, the rocket was launched in the city of Taiki, Hokkaido. A number of media reported that the incident occurred at 5:30 local time on Saturday (30/6).

The rocket should have reached a height of 100 kilometers in space. Television footage showed that the rocket had only been raised 10 meters from the launch pad before falling to the ground and catching fire.

He apologizes for the failure, and says that his team will collect the debris and badyze the problem to fix it.

This failure is the second after the first rocket lands in July.

This project was launched in 2005 by businessman Takafumi Horie, founder of Livedoor Internet service.
